Leicester have tied up a deal to bring Mads Korneliussen to the club.
The Danish International spent the last three seasons at King’s Lynn and comes on loan from his parent club Swindon. Leicester’s new signing has been a regular competitor in the UK since he arrived here in 2003 and was a gold medal winner with Swindon when they won the Elite League Shield five years later.
“Mads brings vast experience to the club having ridden in all the major leagues in Europe. He is much in demand and his record over the season makes for impressive reading. He scored freely for the Stars and was the rider with the second highest average in the team so he knows his way around the Elite League which will be invaluable to us as a new club. I am sure that Mads will not mind us tapping into his knowledge from time to time” commented Leicester’s Promoter David Hemsley.
